ASF (Airports Security Force)
The Airport Security Force (ASF) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of airports in Pakistan. ASF personnel are responsible for securing airport perimeters, checking and screening passengers and their baggage, and responding to any security threats or incidents that may occur. They also play a key role in preventing smuggling, human trafficking, and other illegal activities at the airport.

ASF Jobs 2025: Physical Standards and Tests for Uniformed Positions
To apply for uniformed positions like ASI, Corporal, and Corporal Driver in ASF, candidates need to meet certain physical standards and pass a physical test. Here are the details for male and female candidates:
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5’6″
- Chest: 34″ (minimum) to 32″ (expansion)
- Weight: Must match the weight chart available at the recruitment center.
For Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5’2″
- Weight: Must match the weight chart available at the recruitment center.
Physical Tests
For Male Candidates:
- Run 1 mile within 7:30 minutes
- 22 Push-ups in 2 minutes

How to Prepare for ASF 2024 Physical & Medical Tests
- Test Centers Across Pakistan
The ASF physical and medical tests will be conducted at several locations including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, and more. You may be assigned to any of these centers based on availability. - Footwear for the Test
Make sure to wear sports shoes (PT shoes) for the physical test. The ASF is not liable for any accidents during the test. - Download Your Test Slip
After completing the registration, you can download your test slip from joinasf.gov.pk. Don’t forget to bring your slip and original ID card on the day of the test. - Shortlisting for the Next Phase
If you pass the physical and medical tests, you’ll be selected for the next phase (written/practical test), and your test slip will be uploaded on the official website.
Written & Practical Tests
- Written Exams: For ASI, Corporal, and Civil Posts (Pay scale 6-15).
- Practical Tests: For Stenotypist, LDC, Corporal Driver, and MT Driver positions.
Important Notes:
- No TA/DA is provided for participation in tests or interviews.
- Uniformed post candidates will follow the Pakistan Army Act 1952.
- Aviation Security Training is mandatory for selected uniformed candidates.
- Candidates may be posted to any airport across Pakistan, including AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, and former FATA.
